TROY

Troy est le capitaine de l'équipe
de basket et la coqueluche du lycée.
Lors des vacances de noël, il s'est
découvert une passion pour le
chant en chantant avec
Gabriella. Faire imposer ses choix
à ses camarades est bien plus
difficile qu'il ne le croit ...


GABRIELLA

Gabriella est de nature timide. Elle a rencontrée
Troy en vacances et a été "obligé" de chanter
avec dans un karaoké, ce qui ne lui as pas
déplue en fin de compte. Cette surdoué en
maths et physique vient d'arrivé dans l'école,
suite à la mutation de sa mère.Elle n'aurait pas
trop de mal à s'adapter à son nouveau lycée.


RYAN ET SHARPAY

Frère et soeur, Ryan et Sharpay,
n'apprécient pas trop qu'une nouvelle marchent sur leurs
plate-bande, surtout Sharpay. En effet, celle-ci essaie en
vain d'attirer Troy, qui lui est intéréssée par Gabriella.
Sharpay est en quelque sorte la chef, Ryan ne fait que
suivre le mouvement.Tous deux participent depuis 7 ans
aux pièces de théatres et comptent bien perpetuer la
tradition, la aussi en vain.


TAYLOR

Taylor est la présidente du club
de physique/chimie.Elle va devenir la meilleure amie de Gabriella
quand celle-ci va arriver, et lui demande de ce joindre au club,
ce qu'elle accepte par la suite. Elle compte bien gagner le décathlon
scientifique avec son aide, alors pas question pour Gabriella de
chanter ! Après une tentative, qui a échouée, de faire lui
abandonner la chanson, elle a décidée de l'encourager.
Elle est attirée par Chad, et lui aussi puisqu'il lui demande
de sortir avec elle à al fin du film.


CHAD

Chad est le meilleur ami de Troy et un membres
de l'équipe de basket. Lui non plus ne comprend pas pourquoi Troy veut
chanter et, avec l'aide de Taylor, va essayer de le convaincre
d'abandonné.Côté coeur, il est attiré par celle-ci.
